Question 1 — Is there US-made quality data for the exact batch?

A straight answer on where the compound was manufactured, and a real number on the vial you receive. If a vendor is vague about origin “for illustration,” you don't actually know what's in your vial.

Question 2 — What purity method, and what's the number?
A stated purity, backed by a method
“High purity” is a vibe. Ask instead what a seller will state plainly and repeatedly — origin, lot tracking, dispatch. A claim nobody will put in writing leaves the most important research variable undefined.

Question 3 — Is identity confirmed?
The same strength every time
Purity tells you how much; identity tells you what. Mass spectrometry confirms the molecule matches the label. For peptides especially, a single wrong amino acid is a different compound — so identity confirmation should sit right next to the purity figure, not be assumed.

Question 4 — Where is it made and handled?

Country of origin and handling chain affect consistency, shipping integrity and accountability. US-made and domestically handled material travels a shorter, more transparent path than re-shipped product of unclear origin.

Red flags that should slow you down
- “Research-grade” stated with no testing to back it.
- Vagueness about where a compound was made, or a different answer each time you ask.
- Purity claimed as a phrase (“ultra-pure”) with no method or figure.
- No identity testing mentioned anywhere.
- Unclear origin, no traceability, and no one to ask before you pay.
- Ask for a batch-specific Made in the USA — a generic one doesn't describe your vial.
- Insist on a named manufacturing origin — not a country of incorporation.
- Favor US-made, traceable material with a real person to answer questions.
